Wellfit set out to build a platform that simplifies operations, offers better payment options, and improves case acceptance and profitability for providers. Wellfit has developed, tested, and deployed its technology in over 900 practices, facilitated sales of over 355,000 dental plans, and processed more than $2B in payments.

Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, Wellfit is led by a team of seasoned professionals in the areas of technology, financial services, and healthcare.

Fulton Collins

CEO

Mr. Collins has held several business leadership positions, including Chairman and CEO of Network Communications Inc., which owned and operated ApartmentFinder.com and was acquired by the CoStar Group to help create the industry’s leading online apartment listing portal. He served as President of Summit Acceptance, a national consumer finance company that, under his leadership, experienced several years of hyper-growth and was acquired by CapitalOne Financial. Mr. Collins has held a variety of other positions, including running the digital e-learning company Aegis Learning Group, marketing management roles with Nestlé SA, and sales management roles with the E&J Gallo Winery, the world’s largest wine company. Mr. Collins served as Chairman of the Board for International Oncology Care.

Todd Vick

CFO

Mr. Vick has served in executive positions leading healthcare and technology companies over the last 30 years. For 12 years, he served as CFO of Navigator Systems, an industry-leading national BI-consulting firm that was acquired by Hitachi Consulting. He was CEO of Opportune IT, a healthcare consulting and software firm that developed medical coding scrubber applications for hospitals and physician practices leading up to its being acquired by Streamline Health. Most recently, he worked 4 years as President and CFO of Tarrytown Expocare, a long-term care pharmacy focused on the IDD population, leading the company from a Texas based operation to having pharmacies in 7 states, serving individuals across the country.

With over 25 years of C-level technology expertise, John has dedicated his career to shaping and fostering high-growth organizations. His background in Financial Services has included pivotal CIO/CTO roles at H.D Vest Financial Services, Giggo.com, and most recently Car Capital Technologies. His impact spans numerous companies, guiding them from inception to full digital enterprises, steering product and technology roadmaps, and spearheading development initiatives.

General Counsel

Mr. McDonough served as general counsel with several multi-million dollar technology companies, including 12 years at CompuCom Systems, Inc., where he was General Counsel and led the legal department in all matters, including mergers and acquisitions, complex product and service agreements, human resources, litigation and dispute, and international business.

With over 20 years of experience in financial services and operations, Mr. Tharp is a seasoned professional with a robust background in product strategy, operational readiness, and process improvement. Brad has worked with top companies such as Elevate Credit, WageWorks, Sprint, and Solvay, contributing to their growth through innovative product strategies and efficient operations. Mr. Tharp is highly motivated, with a passion for excellence and a proven track record of driving business results.

For over 15 years Ms. Zuniga has been a top producer- working for leading healthcare and consumer finance companies including Philips Healthcare, Lending Club, and GreenSky. She has been responsible for significant growth in both existing and new product platform sales that have resulted in increased profitability. Catlin credits her customer relationship skills and business acumen for her success and looks forward to bringing her talents to Wellfit.

Joey Ams

Vice President of Analytics + Strategic Alliance

Mr. Ams has worked in data analysis, risk modeling, and operations management roles for several Fortune 100 companies, including Citibank, Bank One, and CapitalOne. Mr. Ams, a demonstrated leader in the consumer financial services and e-commerce industries, has deep experience in credit risk, statistical modeling, business analytics, and operational efficiencies for call centers as well as managing customer support teams.

Mike Asplen

Vice President of Compliance

Mike has 30+ years of experience in the consumer finance industry, including positions in lending, servicing, collections, quality assurance, risk management, audit and compliance. He has worked with several major financial institutions and fintechs, including MBNA (Bank of America), Wells Fargo, Sallie Mae, and most recently PrimaHealth Credit.

Jiyoon Song

Vice President of Accounting & Admin.

Ms. Song has held leadership roles in finance and accounting in Fortune 100 companies, including UnitedHealth Group and Toshiba. Ms. Song started her career at Arthur Andersen, LLP, and has deep exp rience in operational accounting, strategic financial planning, and forecasting, as well as significant work on mergers and acquisitions.

Ms. Ausman is an accomplished B2B marketing executive with many years of marketing, brand management, and media relations experience in the tech field. She brings a unique blend of experience from enterprises and start-up companies.
